This Week In Jams (TWIJ) is a sequenced weekly playlist featuring songs I think my friends and future friends (like you) may want to hear.
It’s rare for a new artist to “not miss” on any release, but Remi is one of the select few. Since 2018, she’s released fire singles and EPs, and had Nile Rodgers, Beck, Hot Chip, Panda Bear, and more remixing her songs before she dropped her first LP! If these legends are already co-signing her, maybe she’s onto somethin?
This week’s playlist is my long-awaited tribute to this incredible young artist 🙌🏿
Update: If you’re seeing this post now, This Week In Jams has been refreshed. No need to fear, you can find this particular playlist here:
While there’s a whole lotta Remi on this playlist, there are also some non-Remi Wolf heat you should check out too 👇🏿
“Kyoto (The Marías Remix)” - Phoebe Bridgers
A sleek remix by the Marías, an up & coming band that will be playing the biggest stages in the next few years.
“Hush (Still Woozy Remix)” - The Marías
A fun 180 of one of my favorite tracks last year.
“WTF” - Still Woozy
A song that you can’t help but like in the first 2.5 seconds.
“Lemonhaze” - PawPaw Rod
Any song that resembles “Lowdown” automatically vaults to the top of my list. This song has one of my favorite lessons of 2021:
Why you worry about the little things?
It's the big shit that's gon' kill ya, kill ya anyway
